READING IS WORTH A LOT!

     Students in Mrs. Milner's Class can earn money for reading.  This ties in with the 400 minutes students are asked to read each month.  For every 20 minutes students read, they will earn $20.00.  The students turn in their calendar at the end of the month, and see how much money they get to put in their billfold.  At the end of the year, students will have an auction, so they can spend their money.  Hopefully, we will get a real auctioneer to come in and auction the stuff.

     We will also do Book It this year.  This starts in October.  Students are required to read at least 380 minutes of the 400 to earn a free Pizza Hut coupon for a personal pan pizza.
